THE AUGUST BREAK

I'm excited to be participating in Susannah Conway's August Break this year!  The August Break was designed by Susannah to give herself a break from writing blog posts, but it has become an event for anyone to join in, if they like.  The idea is to post photos only on your blog for the month of August, and give yourself a break from writing blog posts.  Susannah explains it all on her blog here, if you want to read over the details.

A few great things about The August Break - You can participate as much or as little as you want (it doesn't have to be every single day), and you don't have to have a blog to join in the fun!  You can also join in on Instagram (#augustbreak2013) or in The August Break Flickr group - Lots of different ways to participate!  And this year Susannah has given us a list of photo prompts to help us along!  You don't have to follow the prompts if you don't want to - They are just there for you if you need them or feel you would like to use them.

Since my blog posting is once a week at best I won't really be taking a break from writing blog posts.  I plan to participate in The August Break by doing some additional blog posts that will likely consist of only photos.  Also, I will be participating on Instagram, as well.  I'd love to hear from you if you will be participating in The August Break, too!   ▲
