NIKON D7100

I bought my very first DSLR camera - The Nikon D7100!  So far, it's great, but I honestly don't know what I'm doing...It is the most complicated camera I've ever owned and it's pretty intimidating.  I've just been playing around and trying things out just to get a feel for it, and I haven't even scratched the surface of what this camera can do.  Anyways, these were a few of my first 50 shots I took with my Nikon down in The Exchange District here in Winnipeg.  These are a tad dark as it was cloudy when I took them, but I think I kinda like the moodiness of them.  These are unedited shots - No cropping, no effects, nada...Just working on getting straight shots and no shaky hands. :P  I hope to share some more shots here as I start to get used to my new Nikon so there will definitely be more coming soon!  ▲

  1. I really like the last turquoise one! Looking forward to seeing more of your pictures. I suck at photography and would love to be able to take crisper pictures, I know a better camera would help but I am not there yet.

    1. Thanks so much, Daphne! I am totally way above my head with this camera - It's a bit scary as I feel a bit lost with it but it will come with time and practice, just like anything. (I hope!!!!) :)

  3. Congratulations!! I know just how exciting it is because it wasn't that long ago that I got my Cannon Rebel T3i and it makes such a difference. Loved your photos - the blue on that wall is exquisite!

    1. Hi Aubrey - Thanks so much for your comments - You are too, kind! :) It is kind of nerdy how excited I feel about my new camera, but it's nerdy in a good way - Can't wait until I really know what I'm doing with it and see the kind of photos I can create. :)

  4. Clever. I like the hint of color each picture captures.
