TATA-NAKA A/W 13-14

Hi Folks!  I have been a tad under the weather and so of course I didn`t have the energy to post earlier in the week.  I hate to be talking about fall when summer just finally arrived, but I had to share this Tata-Naka Autumn 2013 Winter 2014 collection as it's just too amazing to miss.

Inspired by "Ferris Bueller's Day Off ," "Pretty in Pink" and "The Breakfast Club" this collection from Tata-Naka re-creates the iconic scenes from these classic teen films.  It's pure 1980's, John Hughes inspired, Molly Ringwald-esque goodness!  I adore the colour blocking with the muted pastel colours and the fun prints in this collection, which were all painted by the designers themselves.  The concept and presentation of this collection is just so original and so damn adorable that I thought others might enjoy a look.  Scroll down for some of my other favourites from this Tata Naka collection.

For photos of the full collection you can check out the amazing A/W 13-14 Tata-Naka Lookbook - It's designed like a classic high school year book!  The Lookbook has more information about the designers and the inspiration for this collection.  The Tata-Naka facebook page also has photos of the whole collection as well. ▲
